A Fidelity security guard allegedly shot himself to death yesterday, November 29, outside the Cleary Park shopping center.
A Fidelity car was parked at the shopping center around 13:30, according to police spokesperson Col. Priscilla Naidu. A security guard was there to withdraw money from one of the retailers.
Two of the guards were seated in the front of the vehicle and one stood outside. A security guard standing outside indicated that he wasn’t feeling well and jumped into the back of the car.
“This is when he shot himself. He received a bullet wound to the side of his head. His name and age are unknown at this stage,” Naidu said.
Inquest records were opened for further investigation.
