According to security footage, someone drove through the front door, and at least six suspects ran into the store and began bagging items.
TACOMA, Wash. — The Tacoma Police Department (TPD) is seeking information from the public about a suspect accused of robbing a cannabis store early Friday morning.
Police said three cars pulled up near the front of Zip’s Cannabis on the 2600 block of Pacific Avenue at about 2:30 a.m. and one drove through the front door.
The other suspects then ran into the store and began throwing items into the bags they brought to the scene.
The suspect exchanged gunfire with armed guards outside the company. Police believe one of the suspects was shot. The security guard was not injured.
At least six suspects were involved in the crime, according to security camera footage.
Two cars were left at the scene. All the cars used in the robbery were stolen.
