Students and police clash at Allahabad Central University, security guard fires several rounds – Free Press Journal

allahabad: Clashes between students and police were reported at Allahabad Central University on Monday.Every ABP reporta security guard fired several shots from his gun during the incident.

Many students were reportedly injured in the incident. Meanwhile, the police arrive on the scene and try to defuse the tumultuous situation.

Earlier on Sunday, similar violent clashes between students and police were witnessed at the national team over a fee hike.

The cafe owner was also reportedly physically assaulted by students at the national team’s Holland Hall hostel. The owner’s cousin was also injured in the incident.
