Indictment documents show 29-year-old Kaleb Rashan Sharp has been charged with murder in the fatal shooting of 38-year-old Ken Takada Davis.
Sharpe’s bond was denied Saturday morning and is due back in court on Monday.
Sharpe has committed felony robbery from January 2017 onwards.
On August 11, Darrick Eddie Collins was charged with murder in connection with Davis’ death and posted $500,000 bail.
Collins’ petition for sufficient bail documents indicates that the handgun used to kill Davis is linked to another murder.
Houston police respond to a shooting at Block 8600 on Woodway Drive at approximately 12:30 pm on April 23.
Condominium managers and security found Davis shot dead inside his apartment, police said.
The property manager told police a resident notified the front door of the unit where Davis was found was open all night.
